How do I setup an appointment?

Click the “Make Appointment” button or send a message to our Facebook business page. Please include as much info as you can about what you are looking for along with any reference photos that appeal to you.

How much will it cost?

Our shop minimum is $100. Each tattoo is unique so pricing depends on factors like the placement, size, complexity of design and whether you want color in your tattoo. Small tattoos may be a flat rate determined by your artist where as larger custom designs can require a drawing fee as well as $100 per hour rate for tattooing. To give you a proper quote, your artist will need information about your vision and expectations for your tattoo. Sometimes a larger piece is better suited for two sessions which can also help you budget.

What does the deposit cover?

We require a $100 non refundable deposit to secure an appointment.

Depending on the tattoo you are looking for, the deposit will go towards your artists drawing time and preparation to create a unique custom design just for you or if you want a small piece and have a very clear reference photo in mind, sometimes the deposit will cover the first hour of tattooing. Talk with your artist to make a clear plan for what your deposit will cover.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens and sometimes things get in the way of your tattoo plans. We can accommodate rescheduling with 24 hour notice before your appointment. If you notify us 24 hours in advance, your deposit can be transferred to the new appointment time. If you are unable to give us 24 hour notice, we reserve the right to keep your deposit and you will need to send another deposit to reschedule.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Venmo, Cashapp, PayPal and Check.

What are your hours?

We operate by appointment only. This allows flexible scheduling and a private one on one experience for our clients.

Where is the studio located?

We are located near NMU campus on Lincoln Ave. in Marquette Michigan. When you book an appointment we will send you the studio address.

I booked an appointment! When do I see my design?

If we are working on a custom design for you, our artists will be in touch 24-48 hours before your appointment with a drawing proof for you to review. Edits can be made at that point to ensure your design is ready. We want you to love your tattoo and our artists are always willing to work with you to create unique designs that reflect your vision while also highlighting our artists expertise.

Should I arrive early for my appointment?

Please do not! Your artist is busy preparing to create your beautiful piece of art. Our check in process only takes a minute. If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time.

Can I bring friends or family to my appointment?

Yes you are welcome to bring a friend or family member! Sometimes moral support makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Keep in mind tattoos may take a while to complete so if your friend is on a time crunch, ask them to arrive separately so your artist does not feel rushed.

How should I prep for my appointment?

Make sure you get a good night sleep before your appointment, drink plenty of water and eat a healthy meal before you come in. Keep in mind that tattoos take about 2 weeks to heal and during this time you need to stay out of direct sun or tanning beds as well as stay out of the pool/lake/sauna.

Do you do coverups?

Not all coverups are possible but we will do what we can to accommodate! Send a clear photo of the tattoo you would like covered and we will be able to give you more details on what is possible. Sometimes tattoo removal sessions are recommended before a coverup to ensure the best results possible.

Do you take walk-ins?

Since we operate by appointment only, no we do not take walk ins but sometimes day of openings are possible. Please message us on our Facebook business page for availability.

How old do I need to be to get a tattoo?

If you are under 18 years old, the State of Michigan requires the following: a parent must be present during your entire tattoo appointment. Your parent must bring their own ID and your birth certificate showing their name as your parent on the certificate.

It is also our own shop policy to kindly ask if there is a second legal guardian in the minor’s life, we would like written consent from them stating that they allow the tattoo appointment to occur.

How much are touchups?

Touchups are complimentary within 6 months of your original appointment as long as you followed our aftercare protocol. If you did not follow our aftercare protocol, you will need to pay our normal pricing of $100/hour to get a touchup. If you got a tattoo somewhere else and would like it touched up, the appointment would reflect our normal pricing of $100/hour so cost will depend on how much work is needed.
